Project Manager – IT (Hybrid | Houston, TX)
We're seeking an experienced IT Project Manager
to lead and deliver a variety of software and technology initiatives across enterprise systems, infrastructure, and digital transformation efforts. This role will guide projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical outcomes. This role is based fully onsite in Downtown Houston, TX.
This opportunity is offered on an initial 6-month contracting basis, with potential for further contract extension. As a w2 contract worker you are eligible to a benefits package including health/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401k vehicle and more. Hourly rate:$85-100/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to implementation
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with vendors
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical plans
- Monitor timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation
- Provide clear communication and updates to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 6–8+ years of experience managing complex IT projects
- Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with MS Project, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Office, and Visio
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; PMP preferred
