Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm + On-Call 24/7

Pay:$32-37/hr (W2)
Our client is a leading global genomics and life sciences company driving innovation in sequencing and array-based solutions. They are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician 4 to maintain and repair the facility's structure, equipment, and grounds — including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for a variety of mechanical service calls and in-house repairs throughout the facility and grounds
- Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
- Provides guidance and oversees other maintenance personnel
- Performs skilled trade work such as carpentry or painting in the construction, repair, or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs, or office fixtures
- Monitors, maintains, documents, and performs preventive maintenance on HVAC systems including the Central Plant
- May work from sketches, blueprints, and drawings
- Acts as liaison and supervises work of contractors
- Available on-call and able to respond 24/7/365
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Reliable transportation required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and repair across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC disciplines
- Ability to read and interpret sketches, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Capable of working independently and exercising judgment on new or ambiguous assignments
- Experience overseeing or guiding other maintenance staff
- Skilled trade experience (e.g., carpentry, painting, structural repair)
- Availability for on-call response on a 24/7/365 basis
