PROJECT MANAGER – LEVEL 2

LOCATION: Juno Beach, FL

DURATION: 12-month contract

PAY: Up to $34-39/hour



Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will administer and manage prime contract obligations for a high-priority, schedule-driven gas generation project. Key responsibilities include:

· Managing all prime contract obligations under Federal Hub contracts and ensuring project performance aligns with contractual requirements, milestones, and deliverables.

· Coordinating with the Federal Hubs Program Office (FPO) and relevant stakeholders regarding contract performance reporting, schedule submittals, and required certifications.

· Serving as the primary point of contact between the project team and the Federal Hub Owner’s Representative (OR) for contract-related correspondence and formal communications.

· Maintaining the Contract Deliverables Requirements Matrix (CDRM) and ensuring timely submission of required reports, plans, certifications, and documentation.

· Reviewing and interpreting applicable Federal Hub contract clauses and communicating requirements to project teams, EPC partners, equipment suppliers, and service providers.

· Supporting contract modifications, change orders, and equitable adjustments in coordination with project controls and legal teams.

Essential Duties and Job Functions

· Administer and monitor prime contract requirements, obligations, milestones, and deliverables.

· Coordinate contract performance reporting, schedule submissions, certifications, and other required documentation.

· Serve as the central point of contact for contract-related communications with the Federal Hub Owner’s Representative.

· Maintain and regularly update the Contract Deliverables Requirements Matrix (CDRM).

· Track and administer RFI, submittal, and correspondence logs to maintain a complete and defensible contemporaneous project record.

· Review, interpret, and flow down applicable Federal Hub contract clauses and requirements to project stakeholders.

· Identify, prepare, price, and support negotiations for contract modifications, change orders, and equitable adjustments (EAs).

· Partner with project controls and legal teams to evaluate contractual impacts and develop appropriate responses.

· Participate in project schedule reviews and assess contractual risks associated with compressed construction timelines.

· Identify potential exposure related to liquidated damages, key milestones, and other contractual obligations.

· Monitor project commitments and deliverables to ensure timely completion and compliance with contract requirements.

· Conduct contract closeout activities, including final invoice reconciliation, release of liens, and demobilization verification.

· Prepare and submit required closeout certifications and documentation.

· Maintain accurate and organized contract records throughout the project lifecycle.

Knowledge & Skills

· Strong understanding of contract administration and project management principles.

· Experience interpreting and administering complex contractual requirements.

· Strong knowledge of contract deliverables, reporting requirements, milestones, and compliance obligations.

· Experience with change orders, contract modifications, equitable adjustments, and contract negotiations.

· Strong understanding of project schedules and contractual risk management.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to maintain detailed, accurate, and defensible project documentation.

· Ability to collaborate effectively with project controls, legal, engineering, construction, and other cross-functional teams.

· Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to identify contractual risks and proactively communicate potential impacts.

· Comfortable working in a compressed, schedule-driven project environment.

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.

· Relevant experience in project management, contract administration, or a related discipline.

· Experience managing complex prime contracts and contractual deliverables.

· Experience with EPC contracts, construction projects, or large-scale energy infrastructure projects preferred.

· Experience with Federal contracts or Federal Hub contracts is highly desirable.

· Experience working with project controls, construction schedules, and contractual risk management preferred.

· Experience with change orders, equitable adjustments, and contract negotiations preferred.

· Experience in the energy, utilities, power generation, or gas generation industry is a plus.
