Project Engineer – Data Center Power Projects
Up to $58/hour, 12 month contract
On-site, Juno Beach, FL
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful execution of data center power infrastructure projects from early-stage development through project completion. This role will focus on managing technical project activities, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering efforts, and supporting high-quality project delivery within a fast-paced Engineering & Construction environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, external engineering consultants, subject matter experts, and project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage technical aspects of data center power projects from due diligence through construction and project closeout
• Coordinate internal engineering teams, external engineering consultants, and technical resources throughout project execution
• Review and manage engineering deliverables to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with project objectives
• Support technical due diligence activities, engineering studies, and project evaluations
• Provide technical leadership and engineering support across multidisciplinary project teams
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, scope management, and engineering coordination activities
• Interface with internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and consultants to support project execution
• Resolve complex engineering and technical issues that arise during project development and construction
• Support standardized engineering processes and continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in project meetings, technical reviews, and stakeholder updates throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure engineering activities align with company standards, safety expectations, and project requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline)
• 8+ years of engineering and/or project engineering experience preferred
• Experience supporting infrastructure, power delivery, mission-critical, or industrial projects
• Strong project coordination and engineering management experience
• Experience managing internal and external engineering resources
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
• Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting data center infrastructure or mission-critical facilities
• Power delivery, utility, or EPC project experience
• Experience supporting large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary engineering coordination and construction support activities
