JOB TITLE: Project Management Consultant – Level 2

LOCATION: Juno Beach

SCHEDULE: Standard Office Hours (EST)

DURATION: 12 Month Contract

PAY: $40-45/hr


Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead and support the execution of multiple concurrent projects within a regulated utility or infrastructure environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing multiple capital or operational projects simultaneously, including:

    o Coordinating contractor-led project execution activities

    o Tracking project schedules, budgets, and deliverables

    o Supporting engineering, operations, and compliance workstreams

    o Managing vendor performance and contractor coordination

    o Identifying and driving resolution of project risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Preparing clear, leadership-ready status reports, dashboards, and documentation
  • Supporting compliance requirements, including audit-ready documentation where applicable (e.g., NERC standards)
  • Facilitating cross-functional collaboration between internal stakeholders and external contractors


    Essential Duties and Job Functions:

  • Lead execution of multiple concurrent projects with a focus on structured delivery and accountability
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools such as Smartsheet and/or Microsoft Project
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and key milestones, escalating issues as needed
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, compliance, and vendor teams to ensure alignment
  • Manage contractor deliverables, performance expectations, and timelines
  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Maintain accurate and complete project documentation for reporting and audit purposes
  • Facilitate project meetings, capture action items, and ensure follow-through
  • Support leadership with timely updates, summaries, and decision-support materials
  • Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory and organizational standards (including NERC compliance practices where applicable)


    Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in project scheduling and tracking tools (Smartsheet and/or Microsoft Project required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in contractor and vendor management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and regulated environments
  • Understanding of risk management, issue tracking, and project controls
  • Ability to maintain documentation for audit and compliance readiness
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships
  • Proven ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with regulated utility environments and NERC compliance (preferred)


    Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field preferred
  • 6–10 years of experience in project management or project controls roles
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a contractor-driven environment
  • Experience in regulated industries (utilities, energy, infrastructure) preferred
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven documentation requirements (e.g., NERC) is a plus
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred but not required
