JOB TITLE: Project Manager, Mid-Office Projects

Location: Juno Beach

Duration: 10-month contract

Pay: 32-37 USD per hour


Job Responsibilities:

In this role, you will manage and support multiple Trading Risk Management mid-office projects currently in flight. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating multiple mid-office project initiatives, including:

    o Applying standardized PMO frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

    o Managing project charters, work plans, RAID logs, and governance routines.

    o Tracking scope, schedule, milestones, and deliverables.

    o Monitoring cross-team dependencies and system impacts.
  • Driving risk and issue management by identifying, documenting, escalating, and resolving project risks with recommended mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitating stakeholder alignment through standups, working sessions, and steering committee updates.
  • Creating and delivering internal and external communications, including:

    o Executive-ready status reports and dashboards.

    o Release/change notifications.

    o FAQs and training announcements.

    o Customer/vendor communications.
  • Supporting structured change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, meeting notes, action items, and lessons learned.
  • Recommending continuous improvements to templates, workflows, reporting, and governance practices.


    Essential Duties and Job Functions:

  • Coordinate and execute daily project activities to ensure milestones remain on track.
  • Maintain integrated project plans and proactively manage interdependencies across teams.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and decision points with clear escalation paths.
  • Facilitate effective meetings and document outcomes with defined next steps and accountability.
  • Translate complex project data into clear, concise communications tailored to various audiences.
  • Support change readiness activities including impact assessments, communications, and training coordination.
  • Track project metrics and performance trends to recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO standards, governance processes, and reporting requirements.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external customers/vendors to maintain alignment and transparency.


    Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong project planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • High attention to detail and process discipline using standardized PM frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level messaging.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Familiarity with change management concepts (readiness, training, communications, adoption).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong facilitation and documentation skills.


    Education & Experience:

  • 3–6 years of project management or project coordination experience supporting cross-functional initiatives (operations, finance, technology, customer programs, or shared services).
  • Experience managing in-flight projects, including tracking deliverables, managing RAID items, and coordinating dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated experience creating stakeholder communications, status reports, and executive-ready updates.
  • Experience communicating with external customers/vendors preferred.
  • Hands-on experience supporting change initiatives (communications, training coordination, adoption activities).
  • Exposure to change management frameworks such as Prosci/ADKAR is a plus.
