Project Scheduler – Pharmaceutical Projects (Primavera P6)
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Scheduler to support a portfolio of pharmaceutical projects. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting on project schedules across multiple concurrent initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling and experience working within regulated pharmaceutical environments.
This position works closely with the Portfolio Manager and cross-functional project teams to ensure accurate schedule tracking, timely updates, and effective communication of project timelines.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for multiple projects within a portfolio

Perform day-to-day schedule management activities, including progress tracking, forecasting, and status updates

Generate regular schedule reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and potential delays

Collaborate with project teams to gather updates and ensure schedule accuracy and alignment with project objectives

Support the Portfolio Manager with consolidated scheduling insights and reporting across multiple projects

Utilize Smartsheet to support scheduling, tracking, and reporting activities

Identify scheduling risks and work proactively with stakeholders to mitigate potential impacts

Ensure schedules align with project scope, timelines, and resource availability
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Proven experience in project scheduling using Primavera P6

Experience supporting pharmaceutical projects is required

Proficiency in Smartsheet for project tracking and reporting

Strong understanding of project scheduling principles, including critical path analysis and resource planning

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple schedules simultaneously

Proactive, self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing schedules for projects ranging from small-scale ($50K) to mid-sized capital projects ($1MM+)

Familiarity with portfolio-level scheduling and reporting

Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., GMP/cGMP)
