- Hydrogen Group is partnering with a leading Australian financial services organisation seeking an experienced Business Analyst – AI Governance to support a high-profile regulatory and risk management initiative.
- This engagement has been established in response to evolving regulatory expectations around AI governance, risk management, assurance and operational resilience.
Opportunity
- You will work closely with stakeholders across risk, technology, governance and business functions to review existing assessments, identify gaps, establish ownership and develop actionable plans to improve AI governance capabilities.
- This is a highly visible role with significant stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to influence the organisation's AI governance framework and future roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Review existing AI governance and risk management assessments.
- Analyse identified gaps and areas of partial compliance.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across business, technology and risk functions.
- Define remediation actions and establish accountability across workstreams.
- Translate findings into practical, actionable delivery plans.
- Identify and help implement quick-win improvements.
- Support business case development and executive-level reporting.
- Challenge and validate existing assumptions, assessments and recommendations where appropriate.
Experience
- Proven experience delivering AI Governance initiatives within large organisations.
- Exposure to APRA, ASIC or other regulatory frameworks
- Strong Business Analysis capability, including requirements gathering, gap analysis and solution definition.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience working within risk, governance, compliance or regulatory environments.
- Ability to operate autonomously and drive outcomes with minimal oversight.
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and constructively challenging existing approaches.
- Experience developing actionable remediation plans from assessment findings.
