· Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a background in investment platforms and private markets? This is an opportunity to join a major investment organisation undertaking a significant transformation programme across its private markets technology and data landscape.
· Working within a high-performing Investment Technology team, you'll partner with senior stakeholders across Investments, Technology and Data to shape business requirements, improve investment processes and support the delivery of strategic initiatives across private markets.
Role
· You'll be responsible for bridging the gap between business and technology, working closely with investment stakeholders to understand current processes, define future-state solutions and ensure successful delivery across multiple initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Partner with Investment, Technology and Data teams to capture and document business requirements.
· Facilitate workshops with senior business stakeholders across Front Office and Investment Operations.
· Analyse existing investment processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Produce high-quality business requirements, user stories, process maps and functional specifications.
· Work closely with solution architects and development teams to shape target-state solutions.
Essential Experience
· 5+ years' Business Analysis experience within asset management, wealth management or investment banking.
· In-depth understanding of solid understanding of fund structures and the nuances of private markets; Private Equity, Real Estate, Venture Capital etc.
· Exposure to investment platforms, custody or investment data environments.
· Knowledge of investment reporting, performance or risk analytics.
· Strong understanding of investment operations and investment data.
· Experience gathering complex business requirements and facilitating workshops.
· Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence senior business leaders.
· Strong knowledge of Agile delivery environments.
· Experience producing BRDs, user stories, process maps and functional documentation.
