Location: Juno Beach, FL

Duration: 3-Month Contract

Pay Range:$33–$39/hr

Schedule: Full-time


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Coordinator with strong legal, analytical, and commercial expertise to support wholesale power and natural gas activities across both physical and derivative markets. This role partners closely with front-office teams, external counterparties, legal, engineering, and maintenance operations to ensure precise contract execution, accurate trade confirmations, and effective risk management.

This is a high-impact position blending legal acumen, commercial insight, and technical understanding of power generation and trading operations.


Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic contract planning and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Review, draft, and prepare contracts, amendments, trade confirmations, and other legal documentation.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of ISDAs, NAESBs, EEIs, CSAs, and collateral agreements.
  • Manage document workflows, contract databases, and recordkeeping with exceptional accuracy.
  • Support negotiations, commercial transactions, and regulatory proceedings for wholesale power and natural gas.
  • Coordinate daily with front-office teams to create and amend confirmations for complex derivative and physical trades.
  • Ensure all trades are accurately captured in risk systems and meet legal/regulatory standards.
  • Engage with counterparties to confirm transactions, resolve disputes, and assist with onboarding.
  • Utilize quantitative tools to enhance risk-management decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain reporting/data visualizations using PowerBI, SQL, and Excel.
  • Evaluate risks associated with new transactions, business initiatives, and contract structures.
  • Assist with proforma development, assumption validation, and maintenance/outage planning.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and contractors to support execution of power-plant maintenance work.
  • Apply technical understanding of power-plant equipment to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Promote lean practices and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal certification or relevant bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in contract negotiation, legal compliance, or financial risk management.
  • 5+ years of confirmations or contract experience in a trading or commodities environment.
  • Expert-level knowledge of ISDAs, NAESBs, EEIs, CSAs, and commodity-trading documentation.
  • Strong understanding of derivatives, physical trading, and the full trade lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, PowerBI; Python strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ETRM systems(Endur highly preferred).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across legal, commercial, risk, accounting, and operations teams.
  • Highly organized and comfortable working under tight deadlines.
