Senior Duck Creek Configurator

We’re partnering with a leading organisation in the insurance space who are investing heavily in their technology platform and looking to bring in an experienced Senior Duck Creek Configurator to support several key transformation initiatives.

This is a great opportunity to step into a senior role where you’ll have real ownership across design, configuration, and delivery, while working closely with both technical and business stakeholders.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in delivering end-to-end configuration across Duck Creek (Policy & Billing), acting as a subject matter expert within project teams. You’ll be involved from design through to implementation, helping shape solutions that align with business needs and long-term strategy.

You’ll also support junior team members and work closely with architects, PMs, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-lead solution design and software configuration aligned to business requirements
  • Configure and implement Duck Creek Policy & Billing solutions
  • Develop and present prototypes to stakeholders, facilitating walkthroughs and feedback sessions
  • Provide input into solution design, integration, and costing
  • Work closely with architects and project managers to manage risks and dependencies
  • Support integration with internal and third-party systems
  • Participate in code reviews, defect resolution, and testing cycles
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members

About You

  • 8+ years’ experience in software engineering, including hands-on Duck Creek configuration
  • Strong experience implementing Duck Creek platforms (Policy/Billing)
  • Duck Creek certification (Bootcamp) highly regarded
  • Solid understanding of Duck Creek architecture, data model, and core processes
  • Experience integrating Duck Creek with internal and external systems
  • Background in P&C insurance (highly desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience running workshops or requirements sessions
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects with a high level of autonomy
