We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support Microsoft Exchange Online messaging services. This role focuses on delivering a reliable Outlook and email experience for end users, maintaining service stability, and resolving messaging-related issues within a large Microsoft 365 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for Exchange Online and Outlook services.
- Troubleshoot issues related to mailboxes, calendars, contacts, and mail flow across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Manage shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and mail-enabled groups.
- Monitor Exchange Online service health and proactively address service disruptions.
- Support email authentication and security standards including DMARC, DKIM, and SPF.
- Perform mailbox lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, and access changes.
- Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow or a similar ITSM platform while meeting SLA targets.
- Assist with email migrations and organizational changes with minimal impact to users.
- Collaborate with internal teams and support partners to ensure consistent service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years supporting Microsoft 365 Exchange Online in an enterprise environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Exchange Online and Outlook administration.
- Experience using PowerShell for administration and automation.
- Knowledge of email security protocols (DMARC, DKIM, SPF, OAuth 2.0).
- Experience supporting enterprise email security platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills.
Preferred
- Microsoft MS-203 (Messaging Administrator Associate) certification.
- Experience with email migrations and M&A integrations.
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and Modern Authentication.
