ServiceNow Architect

Remote (Pacific Hours)

Duration: 6 months

Schedule: Standard Office Hours

Pay:$75-80/hr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions while ensuring out-of-the-box upgradeability.
  • Partner with business application owners to streamline automation and optimize data management processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, driving adoption of industry best practices for ServiceNow and related integrated tools.
  • Contribute to the IT roadmap, including ServiceNow rollouts, implementation of new modules, and major platform upgrades.
  • Lead system upgrades, clones, and ongoing maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into ServiceNow technical solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and IT to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Define and document system requirements, user interfaces, and functional specifications.
  • Manage the change process for all platform updates and enhancements.
  • Evaluate new ServiceNow features and functionality, recommending process improvements and enhancements.
  • Ensure users are updated on system features and improvements.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience developing and architecting ServiceNow solutions as a Technical Solutions Architect.
  • Strong coding expertise with JavaScript, Angular, XML, JSON, and CSS.
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow modules including Employee Center, Service Portal, Virtual Agent, and Now Mobile.
  • Proficient in developing custom spokes, data streams, business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI scripts, UI pages, UI macros, UI policies, and related components.
  • Experience with Service Portal and API development including REST and MID Server integrations.
  • Familiarity with App Engine Studio, Git, App Engine Management Center, Integration Hub, and Flow Designer.
  • Strong ability to re-engineer processes and design scalable ServiceNow workflows.
  • Ability to document solution architecture and provide best-practice recommendations.
  • Experience with Angular is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or extensive experience.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Development and Implementation.
  • ServiceNow Certified: System Administrator.
  • ServiceNow Certified: Application Developer.
  • ServiceNow Certified: Technical Architect.
