Job Description

Summary:

In this role, you will lead and support multiple strategic communication projects from concept through successful completion—on time, within budget, and measured by performance metrics. This position contributes significantly to strategic communication efforts within a business unit, requiring initiative, creativity, and independence in anticipating client needs and developing tailored communication solutions that advance organizational objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop and execute strategic communication plans to support business goals.
  • Craft clear, targeted messages using data, research, and analytics to inform planning.
  • Produce a variety of communications materials, including executive messaging, newsletters, and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with leadership and process owners to ensure alignment with corporate strategies.
  • Support branding, change management, and communication efforts for transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and administer surveys to assess change adoption.
  • Identify potential barriers to adoption and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Enhance communication and change management processes through automation and AI-driven tools.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Expertise in strategic communications, messaging, and audience insight.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with analytical and research proficiency.
  • Skilled in creative problem-solving and applying data to drive decision-making.
  • High degree of professionalism and customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Suite, and similar design tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% to various field sites across the U.S. and Canada.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience across multiple communication disciplines.
  • Prosci Practitioner Certification (ADKAR) preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in communications or change management.
  • Prior project management experience required.
