Pay range:$50.00 - $58.00 per hour




We are seeking a passionate and strategic Learning & Development professional to lead the design and execution of a comprehensive, role-based technical onboarding program. This position is responsible for architecting scalable learning experiences that accelerate developer performance and productivity across global teams. By leveraging expertise in instructional design, the ideal candidate will craft impactful training programs that align with organizational goals and deliver measurable business outcomes such as reduced time-to-code, increased developer satisfaction, and enhanced team efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Program Design
    • Lead the analysis of developer training needs, identifying key performance gaps and aligning with business goals.
    • Architect a role-based onboarding program that evolves from foundational knowledge to advanced, job-specific capabilities.
    • Create standardized frameworks, templates, and evaluation tools to ensure consistent onboarding across teams.
  • Training Development & Delivery
    • Design and deliver scalable training materials for both onshore and offshore development teams.
    • Translate complex technical concepts into engaging and effective learning experiences using proven instructional methodologies.
    • Maintain and update training content, curriculum, and strategic learning roadmaps to meet evolving business and technology needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with technology standards and business processes.
    • Develop and present strategic learning solutions and value propositions to executive leadership.
  • Program Management
    • Oversee implementation of the onboarding program, tracking progress across all project stages.
    • Provide coaching and support for program rollout and continuous improvement initiatives.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development.
  • Proven expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and training lifecycle management (from needs analysis to evaluation).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement training solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional methodologies, and curriculum development best practices.
  • Portfolio showcasing a versatile skill set across different learning modalities and challenges.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Instructional Design or a related field with 9+ years of L&D leadership experience.
  • Experience in developing large-scale, technical onboarding programs.
  • Strong record of applying learning principles to drive measurable business performance.
  • Success in securing executive sponsorship and business investment for learning initiatives.
