Sr Project Manager

We’re supporting a global engineering consultancy on the search for an experienced Senior Project Manager
to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. As a w2 contract worker you are eligible to a benefits package including health/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401k vehicle and more.
This role will focus on delivering capital and change management projects end-to-end - ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage vendors and internal stakeholders, and drive project execution from early scope definition through to delivery. There is also opportunity to oversee broader programs, aligning multiple projects and contributing to long-term site roadmaps.
Pay rate:$82-87/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams across capital and process improvement initiatives
- Define project scope, business case, and measurable outcomes
- Manage budgets, forecasting, procurement, and vendor selection
- Oversee project schedules, risks, and quality to ensure successful delivery
- Communicate progress to senior stakeholders and steering groups
- Support and mentor project team members
- Contribute to longer-term program planning and site strategy
What We’re Looking For:
- ~8+ years of project management experience, including capital projects and change initiatives
- Proven experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment (essential)
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with budgeting, contracts, and vendor management
- Familiarity with Lean principles and GMP environments is beneficial
