Schedule: Standard Office Hours

Duration: 6-Week Assignment

Pay range:$35.00 - $38.00/hour




The Supply Chain Operations Specialist will support end-to-end supply operations and logistics across assigned products. This role involves coordinating activities internally and with external partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and products while maintaining data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide supply operations support for assigned products and suppliers, including receipt of materials and coordination with internal teams and external partners (e.g., CMOs, warehouses).
  • Plan and execute material shipments, ensuring proper coordination among stakeholders and accurate execution of related ERP transactions.
  • Enter and maintain critical data related to manufacturing, shipment, inventory, procurement, and release within ERP systems and external tools (Excel, Smartsheet, etc.), ensuring accuracy and real-time updates.
  • Monitor serialization activities to ensure compliance with DSCSA requirements.
  • Assist with the design, execution, and documentation of shipping studies to validate compliant transport of temperature-sensitive materials.
  • Support supply chain processes by managing applicable change controls to ensure controlled and compliant implementation.
  • Generate accurate reports for stakeholders using ERP and reporting tools.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Process document change controls as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline business processes and implement advanced supply chain tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
  • Understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Proven experience with data management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with ERP systems required; knowledge of reporting/work management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) a plus.
