Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, technical-minded Senior IT Business Systems Analyst
to provide comprehensive support for Corporate Business Unit (CBU) applications, including both front-end and back-end systems.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with business acumen to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize applications critical to business operations.
This role is responsible for acknowledging, evaluating, and resolving service tickets within established SLA agreements. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and resolve complex functional, configuration, and technical system issues. The position requires direct interaction with business users, demanding strong communication, relationship management, and time management skills.
Experience with ServiceNow is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between Corporate Business Units and IT.
- Provide first-tier functional and technical support to end users.
- Support key business applications in collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Acknowledge, track, and resolve service tickets within SLA requirements.
- Execute SQL scripts for data management and troubleshooting.
- Analyze application logs and system environment logs.
- Administer Windows servers and support both Windows and Linux-based applications (on-prem and cloud).
- Assist with cloud solution maintenance and migration activities.
- Analyze business processes to identify technology-driven efficiencies and cost optimization opportunities.
- Design and implement IT solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with system users and IT teams.
- Decompose complex work into manageable, value-based deliverables.
- Identify process gaps, interdependencies, and functional risks.
- Support QA testing efforts and assist end users during validation.
- Contribute to cutover planning and change management activities.
- Create and maintain technical and project documentation.
- Maintain awareness of technology trends and emerging solutions.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and projects.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong understanding of corporate business processes and operational practices.
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities, especially for complex system issues.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements (BRDs).
- Experience supporting applications with SSO integration.
- Experience working within SLA-driven support environments.
- Data analytics and dashboarding experience (Power BI, MS Power Apps).
- Test leadership experience (test planning, execution, oversight).
- Experience with change management systems and cutover planning.
- Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance controls.
- Agile methodology experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience supporting:
- Windows infrastructure (Server & Client OS)
- Active Directory
- Oracle and MS SQL databases
- ETL processes
- Enterprise application architecture
- Network infrastructure and firewalls
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and security stack environments.
