Position Summary
Our client is a leading organization in the energy and utilities sector, committed to delivering regulated utility services across the United States. We are hiring for two openings
at different experience levels — a junior-level Training Specialist II and a senior-level Training Specialist III. Both roles provide ongoing troubleshooting and technical analysis to support the onboarding and provisioning of SPE, Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Generation, and EHSQ personnel, ensuring all onboarding and access activities comply with established security, compliance, and access governance requirements.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Works closely with Hiring Managers to review and validate job templates, ensuring provisioning requests are accurate and complete to support employee readiness on Day One
- Submits and manages access and provisioning requests, coordinating with IT and cross-functional stakeholders to complete assigned tasks
- Supports gatekeeping for onboard provisioning by checking that requests follow governance standards before submission
- Supports new and existing employees by identifying and resolving missing or incorrect roles and system access
- Updates vital reports and records, working closely with leadership to ensure job templates are current across all supported areas
- Owns the team mailbox to manage incoming requests and inquiries, assigning requests as appropriate
- Runs weekly reports to support leadership visibility and assists provisioning teams with lingering tasks and overall operational support
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Instructional Design, or a related field; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered
- Level II: 5+ years of experience in a related onboarding, provisioning, or operational support role
- Level III: 7+ years of experience in a related onboarding, provisioning, or operational support role
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills to effectively manage daily onboarding and access-related activities using email, Microsoft Teams, MS Suite, and other enterprise tools
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with hiring managers, IT teams, and key stakeholders to coordinate requests, provide accurate status updates, and resolve issues efficiently
- Effective time management and high attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple requests concurrently while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion
- Customer-focused approach when supporting new and existing employees with role assignments, access corrections, and overall system readiness
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve onboarding and provisioning issues
- Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, Helix/Remedy, and other onboarding and provisioning tools preferred
