Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Equipment Project Manager with 4–7 years of relevant experience to lead the planning, installation, and operational integration of waste handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with equipment such as shredders, compactors, balers, and conveyance systems. This role involves end-to-end project management, from coordination with general contractors to training operations staff and documenting workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the installation of waste handling equipment, including shredders, compactors, balers, and conveyance systems.
- Coordinate with General Contractors to ensure seamless installation and commissioning.
- Lead the commissioning process and ensure all equipment is fully operational and meets performance specifications.
- Provide comprehensive training to operational staff on equipment use and maintenance.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for equipment usage.
- Analyze and document waste flow processes to optimize efficiency and compliance.
- Act as the primary liaison with site waste collection vendors to ensure alignment and integration of services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 4–7 years of experience in equipment project management
- Experience with waste stream management and regulatory compliance standards.
- Proven experience managing installations of waste handling equipment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with external contractors and vendors.
- Experience developing procedural documentation and training programs.
