Women in Partnership
Law firms want more women in partnership and in leadership, and so do the partners we speak to. In confidence, those partners also tell us what they find hard to raise inside their own firm: being the only woman at the table, putting full value on their following, returning from maternity leave, caring for a parent, or managing menopause or IVF alongside the role. This is a group of peers who recognise all of it straight away.
It's run by Becky Morgan, Bridget Hougham and Sadie Walker, Hydrogen's legal partner team. The same team works with managing partners and heads of integration across London's firms on how they hire and support partners, and will take the themes raised here into those conversations, always anonymised. An issue one partner might never raise alone reaches the people who set firm policy as a view shared by many.
